Meanwhile, A.M. Best awarded financial strength rating “A (Excellent)” and a long-term issuer credit rating “a” to Chaucer Insurance Company Designated Activity Company, financial strength rating “A- (Excellent)” and a long-term issuer credit rating “a-” to China Re Hong Kong, with a stable outlook.
China Re Group, China Re Property Insurance and China Re Life Insurance have received A.M. Best’s "A" ratings for ten consecutive years. Since 2014, China Continent Insurance has been awarded A.M. Best’s "A" rating for six consecutive years. Both Chaucer Insurance Company Designated Activity Company and China Re Hong Kong received A.M. Best ratings for the first time this year.
